Pre workout meals!!

I work out early morning and need something in me before working out... Other than protein shakes, what do you eat before working out first thing in the morning??

    Put some carbs into your protein shake and you're good to go.

    If you workout less than half an hour after you eat, most foods, including protein, will still be in your stomach while you workout, so it's best to go with straight sugar, like fruit juice, candy, etc. Personally i go with candy. If you're opposed to that for moral reasons or whatever, then eat more complex carbs the night before (grains, beans, etc). No it will not make you fat, unless you're in a calorie surplus. :+1:

    Meal 1 at 5am steak and veg or salmon and veg I hit the weights at 6am
