Mix up

What is something you all do to mix up your work outs?! So far ( on week 2) I walk in the early mornings.... I average 4-41/2 miles daily then go to work and have a desk job. Needing something to boost! :)

    Well done on your early morning walks :smile: (I'm an early morning workout gal too, started getting up at 6am over 3 years ago and still workout every morning and I have a desk job) :smiley:

    You could do a mix of walking/running that would mix it up.

    Or you could try some other workouts, lots available on Youtube - strength training is very worthwhile, building muscle has advantages, being good for us as we age and also a slight increase in calorie burn even at rest.
    I really like Jessica Smith workouts on youtube, but there are loads, Hasfit/ Fitness Blender/ Pop Pilates.

    Find something you enjoy doing and you'll keep on doing it :smile:

    I agree with RunRutheeRun. Youtube has many videos that I use. I also a weekly yoga class being around others helps me stay motivated and love doing local 5ks every couple of months!
