    Wait.

I thought cardio makes people fat?

Great job and nice bike. A Langster is a classic single speed.

How often / long do you ride? And how long did it take?

    Fixed gear actually, no coasting

That's awesome! Congrats on the weight loss. I cycle also but I'm not hard core enough for a fixed gear!

I have about 5,000 miles on this bike, about 6 something total since starting 3 years ago.

Bike commuting 5-6 miles each way when I can, normal fun ride is 30-40 now.

I'll grind 50-60 some once in a blue moon.

You start small and go from there, I remember a 10 mile ride murdering me.

Have you swapped out the front fork?

I initially bought the bike as trainer and never looked back.

I sold my other bikes after they started collecting dust.

    Building a Cyclocross/Touring bike for 2017 but that's a whole other story.

Great job on the weight loss. You look great. And nice bike too.

I have heard the hills of Florida are incredible for weight loss B) I know this to be a fact as I ride the KATY trail which has maybe 6 feet of elevation change per mile. No coasting either due to fine gravel surface.

Looks like the Courtney Campbell Causeway in that pic.
