    It's nice to get support from spouses but if they don't want to be supportive, that's THEIR problem. That shouldn't stop you from making positive changes in your life. You are your own person. As long as you're not hurting anyone do YOU.

    clarify.

    is he against it, or just passive about it? Because my wife isn't "rah rah" about it with me, but it's because she doesn't care either way as long as i am doing what i want. she doesn't sabotage me either. so... i could say "my wife doesn't support my change in lifestyle," when the simple fact is i don't need her to.
