Thoughts about barre workouts?

Are they good overall workouts for weight loss? What about all over toning? How many times per week is the recommendation for results?

    I love barre. It's low-impact, but challenging. It's not a huge calorie burner so if you have a lot to lose you'll probably want to incorporate cardio as well. You'll gain muscle and get stronger, but you're not going to get the same results as heavy weight lifting. If you run or cycle, it's the perfect compliment.
