I am pretty sure I had an OK figure in here somewhere...I hope this site helps me to locate it again, under about 50-60lbs of "emotional" weight. I gained it through a bad breakup and divorce, a reliance on pain pills...you name it, I agte away the bad feelings! I have tried other plans but cannot stick to them so I really pray this is different...and hope to connect with some others in the same way! Thanks, T

    Work on 2 things:

    1. Give yourself credit for what you DO accomplish instead of beating yourself up for mistakes.
    2. Learn to plan ahead for each day--you can still make adjustments if need be, but you'll know where you are heading.

    You can do it! We have faith in you!

    welcome and congrats on taking the first step stick with it this is real... there is not a huge secret out there about weight loss it is actually simple, eat less calories and excercise. We all know this but for me the problem was knowing where to start. Stay active on the site but put you first. What I mean by that is make sure you enter all your food and excersise everyday first. That has been key for me. I plan all my meals at least through tueday of each week on sunday. I sit down and plan what I will eat in advance snacks and all. Sometimes I may not want what I planned that day. For example we were going to have cheeseburgers tonight on the grill and I worked my day around it but I decided I wasnt in the mood for that and called my husband he agreed that tuna casserole sounded good so I switched thurday's dinner with todays and I had to add two more snacks so I wasnt in starvation mode. The other thing is use the water ticker. I know it sounds silly but seeing that thing spill over just makes you feel good and water is fantastic not only does it help you stay full but it clears up your skin and makes you feel motivated and have energy. I urge you to go to community and search things like snack ideas, lunch ideas, eating out and get some new ideas. I have found reciepes on here for foods I didnt even know I liked that are healthy nutrious easy to make and filling. Feel free to ask me any questions I am sending you a friend invitaiton!!     I am under 60+ pounds of emotional weight as well...I am fairly new to this site as well, but so far it is really helping me! It makes me aware of what I am doing to myself and the "friends" I have made help me from falling off the wagon! There is a ton of support!
