Day 3 of 30day shred and struggling!

I'm trying desperately to keep going but it's hard going. How long should I stay on level one for?

I just started day 1. Feel free to add me if you want to do it together. I was reading 10 days of level 1 then move to 2.

Curious to see what others say.

Google "beginner shred" and look for modifications. 30 DS is not for me because it is so high impact. I would have to trade-off low impact days in between. There was no point really , because there are thousands of exercise videos out there.

Just do something sustainable. Just do something consistently. This is what improving your health and building a better lifestyle is all about.

Just wanted to give you some encouragement to stick with it. The 30DS is what got me started and super motivated. She and MFP are what helped me lose 15 lbs and now I have been maintaining for 3 years. Don't worry if you have to modify, stop and take a break and get back at it. Its a great program. Try to hang with it and in 3/4 weeks you will see your strength and stamina increase. Granted her videos are not for everyone, but if you give it a chance it may prove to be very beneficial. I love Jillian's workouts and still love going back to the 30DS every now and then. Good luck! You can do it!!

But also, don't be afraid to stop and try something else if you find it really isn't for you. I know there are a lot of fans of 30 Day Shred out there, but I am not one of them. (It's not the impact or intensity, I love Focus T25, which is super high impact. I think Jillian's style is just not my thing.) In the end, exercise should not be an activity you dread so if you are hating something after giving it a fair chance, it is best to move on.

Keep going! I'm on level 2 day 3 and level 1 was hard until about day 5, then I sort of missed the burn. Starting level 2 is hard as well but I keep thinking about how hard level 1 was at first and I want to tackle it! You can do it!!!! You will be so glad/proud that you did!
