Activity level

My current Activity level is set to sedentary due to the fact that I work in an office and don't move much. I recently picked up a part time job as a gas station cashier about 20 hours a week. Should I set my activity to lightly active or log those calories burned somehow. Is it even significant enough to burn much?

It really depends. Are you working the night shift moving around stocking etc or are you just standing behind the counter all day? If it's the second one probably not much difference at all. I might set it to lighthly active on those days and eat maybe halfway between sedentary and lighly active but, overall it's better then sitting but, not by much imo0 -
Try it at lightly active and see, give it a few weeks and then reassess.1

I would say a combination of both probably two hours of stocking , cleaning , trash etc and 2 hours of standing.
Thank you for your response btw0 -

No problem you really need to find what works for you. Maybe try sedentary but, if you are still hungry eat a small snack until you feel satiated and don't worry too much if the numbers are in the red? That's basically what i'm doing. I work at a grocery store and am on my feet moving about all day but, i only work 20 hours a week like you. I set it to sedentary and if I feel like i need more at the end of the day i have a small snack. It helps that I get off at midnight most of my shifts so a small snack is enough to get me until i fall asleep.0 -
Yes , that's what I did last night. I think it should be fine just don't wanna cheat myself out of food.0
