4 cans of tuna.

This week I have eaten 4 cans of light tuna. For whatever reason, now after the 4th day in a row of eating tuna, I am wondering if that was a bad idea. Any insight into this?

Tuna today has incredibly high heavy metal accumulations, which can be extremely dangerous if consumed regularly. A couple of cans a week should be okay, but I'd definitely checkout cleaner fish like tilapia.

If you ate that much every week, I would be concerned about mercury, just to start with. But for one week it doesn't matter.

Unless you're pregnant, you get 12 oz of tuna per week, which is three standard size cans, so you went over by a can. If it's not a regular thing, it's unlikely that it would pose any problems.

If it's albacore tuna, you get half that amount. The albacore stuff comes from older fish who've had time to absorb more mercury into their little bodies. That's why you get less albacore. The regular stuff tastes better, anyway, IMO.
