First time in my life, New curtains!

I'm 62 years old and this is the first set of curtains I ever purchased. I have to say I'm excited. I can't believe that. Just as excited if I was getting a new cordless drill.

Also getting new curtain rods, antique bronze. The curtains are Blackout curtains. Just heard the term for the first time talking to a girl at work. They also have Grommets. If I understand those are rings sewn into the fabric which will make hanging them a breeze.

I'm painting the living room and I think the beige will match the color. I have no clue what the name of the color is. It's like a gray with a hint of purple in it. The trim will be white. It should pop!

    I love new curtains so I know where the excitement is coming from. I just painted my parents living room the color was called willow a beige. It always makes everything feel fresh and new. I have black out curtains in our bedroom their great!!

    I didn't know what color to pick so I picked the one I used in my bathroom to tie the house together a bit. Besides I really liked that color.
