Hello everyone. So I started my weight loss journey the beginning of May 2016. I have lost a total of 8lbs so far. Exciting right?! Yes but it was short lived... I also take my measurements... Well today Is took my progress measurements since I took my first.... I've lost 8lbs and inches ALL over my body except for my stomach area. So after crying my heart out I decided to ask all of you for help.
I didn't have the traditional bikini line cesarean. I was cut from my bellybutton to my bikini line. Needless to say its hideous and now to find out after all of the hard work, crunches, sit ups, planks, and walking.... Absolutely NOTHING. Not 1 centimeter.... What can I do?

Unfortunately our bodies will let go of fat from where they like in their own sweet time. You have lost weight and inches so it will come if you stick with it, we can't spot reduce.

How long is it since you had the cesarean? Is there still healing going on with the scarring etc? That could impact where you see the losses too.

I have the same cut (looks like a front butt). Mine is quite flabby, but I have lost inches from there over the years. It just takes time and patience. I also think your body shape/how you carry your weight makes a difference on how fast you lose inches. I'm a pear shape, have lost inches, but it's still out there and noticeable (aka not flat or even in the flat ballpark).
