    I wanted to be an archaeologist.
    I went to school to be a teacher.
    I worked in human resources/ training for almost 20 years.
    Now I'm a stay at home wife.

    I wanted to be a nurse, like my mother, and later, I wanted to be a pediatrician.
    Now, I'm an engineering student, and I have a summer job. I don't know what I'll be doing with my degree though when I graduate.

    When I was really little (like < 5) I wanted to be a doctor.

    Now: I am an undergraduate in a top school studying health science. I work in research at a research hospital. Although I no longer have plans to become an MD, I plan to go to grad school next year. So... close(ish) to my childhood dream? lol

    I was a big weirdo at one point and wanted to be a mortician. I'm a sales manager for Ashley furniture....sometimes I would prefer dealing with the dead instead lol

    I am now a stay-at-home mom (but I did get a BS in advertising and worked for years in magazine publishing)

    As a kid, I wanted to be a Disney animator or a cartoon voice-over artist.

    As an adult, I am a very high level systems engineer who has worked in banking, aerospace, education, entertainment, and healthcare although I jumped around a bit between. I was a cook, a factory worker, a bartender, a casino craps dealer in Las Vegas, a pitboss, a surveillance operator, a pizza delivery driver, web developer, etc. and did those things for about 8 years. I also still have a real estate license.
