Elliptical calories?

Just invested in an elliptical and I'm about to do my first workout on one. I've been into fitness for years now, so I'm not worried about my ability to use one...I am worried about accuracy, though.
I aim to burn 200 calories with my workouts, but I've heard the counters on elliptical machines are inaccurate.
If my machine has my weight, age, and height, as well as a heart rate monitor...will it be accurate or at least moderately accurate?
If not, how can I find an accurate number? Are there any websites that'll help with this?
Thank you!

Ellipticals all have unique motions so there isn't a single standard calorie table that can be accurate for all.
Some will have created and tested custom calorie tables and will be pretty accurate, some won't.
Does your device measure power too?
Why don't you google your elliptical's manufacturer site and see what algorithm they use or have developed?0
