Starting P90 this week - any advice?

I ordered the new P90 series and received it this past week (I have the old series but I couldn't get into it since it seems so outdated). I'm hoping to start it tomorrow evening (I prefer working out in the morning, but my work schedule doesn't allow it every morning). Any advice? I love strength training but haven't done anything significant in over a year due to illness - both mine and my husband's. I will be following the schedule provided in the kit, and maybe doing some additional light cardio like walking at work. I'm looking to lose about 55# - hopefully within the next six months. Thanks for any input!

First of all just to let you know you don't have to exercise to lose weight it's just a matter of eating less calories than your body uses.

As far as P90 on I'm on my 2 round month 3. I absolutely love it this one is definitely tougher than the original P90. More yoga incorporated into it not so much the yoga itself but yoga positions when you do the exercises and he's also going a little more into resistance you controlled movement. As far as the routine my first round I had a hard time doing some of the movements so I didn't do it or I modified the second go-around I surprise myself and I'm actually doing a lot of the movements with some.

The transitions between exercises can be quick. Make sure you have all equipment ready to go before starting the disc.

If you can't do pullups get an assist band. There are tons of pullups in this program.

Although you can survive without them, quick switching dumbells make things much easier.

    Good luck!
