HR monitor accuracy???

So I have a rhythm+ hr monitor. You have to pair it with an app to get a hr and calorie read out. Im concerned about the accuracy of the calorie burn. It seems WAY too high. I was using the underarmor app because its free and connects with mfp. It said I burned 350 calories on a super easy 20 min walk. The max I should have burned is below 150. It also doubles wjlhat my garmin tells me when I'm riding my bike. Any advice on how to fix this issue would be awesome. Thanks!

Here's an analysis of various popular heart rate monitors and their accuracy. I don't see a "rhythm+" on the list. Who is the maker of the device? The same maker seems to have similar accuracy across their whole product spectrum, from what I see.0
