Getting back on the horse

Hey all! Where to begin...about 4.5 years ago, I weighed 208 lbs. My family helped me drop down to 148 and I swore I'd never get that big again. Then I moved in with my boyfriend (now my husband) and started packing the pounds back on. Within a few months, I was back up to the 180s. I crash dieted to fit (barely) into my wedding dress. Almost immediately after we got married, I was pregnant! I vowed to eat super healthy during my pregnancy and only gained about 20 lbs. I lost that weight easily and felt certain I'd finally be able to get myself back on track. But as the months rolled by, I found myself making excuses to eat whatever I wanted. At the beginning of June, I knew I needed to face the scale. I knew it would be bad but the 218 staring up at me was like a punch to the gut. I vowed to stop making excuses. I've lost 10 lbs and now I've joined mfp to try to keep myself honest!
