It looks like if we update our status daily entering our daily weight, it automatically gets adjusted to the settings page where MFP automatically adjusts our daily caloric needs.

If you mean it automatically adjusts your daily calorie goal as you lose, the jury is out. I have heard this to be true, but it has never happened on my account.0

In my experience this is true. Whenever I change my weight settings MFP automatically adjusts my daily calorie allowance.0
