On February 25 I was involved in a single vehicle motorcycle accident that left me with a separated ACL and severally strained PCL with Meniscal damage.
The Orthopedic surgeon told me surgery would be of little use without first regained mobility. During a short 3 week wait muscle atrophy had set in along with joint inflammation. I was unable to flex my knee beyond 30 degrees nor was I able to fully extended it!
Finally, I was able to get the surgery, and now I am back in physical therapy every day (some of which is at home).
As a very active 42 year old it's like being tied down. I cannot work or play with my kids. This is nuts!
What I did quickly discover was the TV remote and junk food so, I went from a solid 190 lbs to 206 lbs very fast.
As a former soldier I am very contentious of my weight. That's when I found this app about 2 weeks ago thus far I have stayed under my recommend calories which is difficult because I ate a lot before.
I never would have considered eating less than 2000 calories per day in the past. I really have to get creative with how and what I eat. Its entertaining when your stuck at home most days. Oh ya my goal weight is 175 I prefer being light for my job as a lineman.
