How do you calculate calories in home made foods? For instance, I make soup with vegetables and other stuff, obviously I'm not eating the whole thing, so how would I know exact nutrition facts?

Have you tried using the Recipe build option/tab?1

You Can Use The Recipe Builder To Figure The Bulk Of The Ingredients And Than Break It Into Portions In Your Diary Once Its Saved In Your Recipes..0

Another vote for the recipe builder- a must use feature of you do any of your own cooking0

Because I never know how much I'm going to have with soups (or other dishes) in recipe builder I usually weigh my final dish and use that as my servings. So if my soup was 1500g (minus the pot of course), I would put it as 1500 servings and just weigh my portion, say 250g, and put that as my serving size once I add it to my diary. That way I don't have to figure out exact servings as everyone in my house has different serving sizes they think as normal lol3
