Accurate calorie loss?

When you exercise do you log it according to the calories MFP tells you that your burned or the machine (the ones that tell you)? I don't know which is more accurate? There usually isn't a huge difference but 15/20 calories can add up! Thank you!

Pick the lowest estimate. Even then it's likely inflated.
Many people here eat back 50-75% of exercise calories & then adjust that number up or down (over time) depending upon actual progress. Pick one number give it a few weeks. Then adjust it.1 -

I disagree about he calories being "always" inflated. I often find them the be grossly underestimated as well depending on the exercise and how hard I hit it.
However...
The best way to figure it out more accurately is with a heart rate monitor (HRM).0
