WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED? As I lose weight I reflect on the things I've gained in its place, which is so much more. I've gained:
*The ability to climb stairs without losing breath
*Sit anywhere at restaurant knowing I'll fit.
*Going to baseball game and sitting comfy in seats.
*Look in mirror without wanting to gag
*Shopping in regular clothing aisle
*Appreciation for new healthy foods
Most important...a confidence and love for myself knowing I'm doing this for me, my children and husband
What have you gained? Just keep that in mind as you keep working hard for your goals.

I'm far from done, but here goes:

    I don't snore anymore.
My fibromyalgia pain is minuscule in comparison to what it was a few months ago.
I don't have acid reflux anymore.
Walking the dog is a pleasure, not a chore.
I'm in clothes that haven't fit for five years.
I have a new Cooper Mini and the steering wheel of this tiny car doesn't touch my belly.
I know that the next time I'm in Maui, they will have a flotation belt for my waist that will fit. (That was my wake up call, of all things)
I spend more than 350 minutes in the gym every week and I love it.

I've still got a ways to go, but so far:
I'm less inclined to NOT be able to do something because of my weight
I ran for 20 whole minutes without stopping :)
Did a really strenuous hike and didn't die!
    More energy
I find myself crossing my legs more when I sit

Those are all such awesome things! It truly is a great feeling, my wake up call was the bruises on my legs from sitting in seats at a baseball game. Keep it up

You know it's funny I never really noticed I cross my legs more too. All of those are great! I don't think I could ever run for that long!
