Friends, workout buddies US east coast, healthy eating habits please, serious, mostly vegetarian

Hi I'm Dawn, 42 yes old, 5' 4" wanting to lose 25 pounds or more. I log in and use my diary everyday. I have an open diary. I'm looking for friends, workout buddies, those with healthy eating habits. I am mostly vegetarian most days. I like being an encouragement to others. My goal is to lose more weight while maintaining healthy eating although i do have cheat days. I'm recouperating from a foot injury right now but otherwise love the gym, walking and jogging and I am trying to heal so I can get back into exercise and work my way up to running. I hope it doesn't take weeks. Please add me and let's do this!

    Hi Dawn, my name is Katrina and I am 46 years old. I too live on the East Coast but I just started with MFP. This app is new to me but I am used to tracking. I am a weight watchers lifetime member having lost 42 pounds 7 years ago. I successfully kept off all the weight through healthy eating and exercise but this year, gained back 10 pounds (gasp!). (It was a stressful year!) I am at the point where my clothes no longer fit comfortably or at all. I loved being able to wear whatever I wanted and now I am disgusted with myself for letting the weight back on. I would love to add a friend or friends who will hold me accountable and who will help motivate me. In return I will help motivate you and discuss exercise, recipes and healthy eating hints. I am not a fan of running but love to walk and hike!
    Not sure how this whole friend thing works on MFP but would love to try it out. What do you think?
