I have been gluten free for over 6 months and it truly makes my weight losing possible. In the summer of 2011, I had my gallbladder removed because I had a server case of heartburn. After my gallbladder was removed I went back to eating junk food and not being very healthy. But 6 months ago I started having problems again, I found out that my intestines where very inflamed and bruised from not eating healthy, which lead me to having a severed case of acid reflux. My doctor told me to eat gluten free and no acid or else I could die.

Its been a very long hard journey to stop eating gluten and acid food, but I have lost 53LBS, and I couldn't be happier. I spend a lot of my time on the back of my horse and knowing that I am loosing weight means that my horse can have a much easier carrying me.

I think in everyone should try either gluten or acid free for a while, or even both. It makes a lot of difference towards your nutrition. I still exercise everyday, but at the same time I know my body is safe and I am keeping myself alive by being gluten and acid free, even though once in a while I will slip up. Being gluten and acid free has changed my life forever.
