Ok so I don't usually believe in crash diets. However my friend has just done james Duncan with good results.
However I'm wondering if people that have done it, did weight just go back on as soon as you stopped. or with calorie control did it stay off?
what were results like?
and did weight come back really quick?

It looks like a ridiculous crash diet that won't even come close to giving your body what it needs. It makes ridiculous claims, like the claim that quantity is meaningless and that it is the "chemicals" in the food that cause weight loss.0

Why would you want to only eat 800 calories per day? That is so very unnecessary and likely dangerous.0

Yes your friend lost weight...fat and muscle and was hungry and lethargic....but will the friend keep that weight off?
give it time I suspect they will gain it back.
I did a diet right before I got here..5 or 6x...lost 20lbs so easy...gained it back...+5lb
haven't gained more than 2-5lbs in 3 years just watching calories...
Goal here should be fat loss then maintenance..."diets" get you to the weight loss but don't help with the rest...0 -
Let your friend do James Duncan - you do you.
If crash diets are bad, and this too is a crash diet, then this will also be bad, for the same reasons all crash diets are bad.
Results and what happens after, will be merely academic.0 -

If you are looking at weight loss as a "project".....something you start and the stop.....then yes, the weight comes back. Instead look at it in terms of "what can I do for the rest of my life to make maintenance a success?"
I can eat more veggies everyday. I can closely monitor my snacks (no more mindless eating). I can exercise on a regular basis. These are things that help me lose weight and also things I can to forever, to keep the weight off.
A crash diet ends with, I lost the weight.....now what?1
