No exercise will target back fat. Just time and a calorie deficit. A good resistance program and adequate protein will help you become more lean bu maintaining muscle mass.

Spot reduction of fat is not possible without surgery (liposuction. )

There are plenty of exercises you can do to strengthen your back muscles. Back bows are my favorite. And the rhomboid squeeze. Check out fitnessblender.com and search for back exercises. But the other posters are right, you have to reduce your overall body fat to see results. Back and abs Are my areas where fat shows. I do notice a huge difference as I'm losing weight and exercising regularly. Don't give up! Take measurements of your waist. It's really encouraging to see the difference as you lose.

Table push-aways and fork putdowns. You can't spot reduce.

I've answered 4 of these today. Look at other threads asking this exact same question. And you'll get the exact same answer. Calorie deficit over a prolonged period for fat loss. Your genetics dictate where you lose fat first. I'm 9% body fat and have more fat on my hips than my friend who's 14% purely because of our genetics
