Eating 1700 calories

Hi,
I have been eating 1700 calories and working out 5 times per week for 1 hour weight and 30 mins cardio.
I have lost 4 kg weight in two months keeping similar calories.
The progress seem to have halted now since last couple of weeks.
What should I do to continue my weight loss body fat process.
Reducing calories more from here on is going to be extremely difficult. What will you do if you are at my place.
Current weight 70kg
Height 165 cm
Male 34
Been training seriously since last 2 years.
I log my food everyday.
Thanks,

If the progress has halted, what has changed? have you been more lax with tracking your calories?
I wouldn't suggest you lower your calories at all, I would suggest you make sure you are tracking them accurately, use a food scale etc just in case you are eating more than you think.
2 weeks is too soon to say its a stall, if you haven't lost any weight in the next few weeks then you know you really have to change something. Weight loss sometimes happens in whooshes - when I was in my losing phase I could go 3 weeks without losing and then boom I lost.2 -
A 2 weeks stall is perfectly normal. I wouldn't change anything for now... just give it a couple weeks. If the scale still hasn't moved after that, cut 100 calories or something.0

I can't cut down more. Is there any other suggestion0 -

I am weighing everything I am eating.
It's been like this since last 2 years now.
I am already quite lean. Just want to have six pack abs. Is it only possible by startling myself to 1000 calories?0 -
If you can't be patient for a few weeks with what you're doing, maybe consider switching-up your macro ratios. Right now your carbs allowance is double that of protein. Consider changing your protein to around 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. I do not recommend dropping to 1000 calories! Look, some folks get 6-pack abs and still drink a 6-pack of beer. Others work out like crazy and the abs never pop out like they want. It's all in how your body carries fat and muscle.0

It could be a number of things. Muscle growth, water issues, constipation.
A plateau isn't one for at least a month. I'm similar to youyou in ageage, height and weight and maintain at around 2000 with a lot less exercise.
Ignore the scales for a few weeks and concentrate on look and clothing fit.0 -
Maybe try increasing your cardiovascular distance or intensity? Try doing intervals or something that really challenges you. Personally I would do something running based outdoors and I'd factor in some hills or flights of stairs.0

I had to do the complete opposite. I took a year to slowly reverse diet where I actually increased my calories and lifted weights heavier at the gym. I increased my metabolism where I was maintaining weight almost at 3000 calories as a female. Then it was muuuuch easier cutting calories from there! This took time. Nothing worth it is fast and easy, especially if your metabolism isn't that great, you don't have enough muscle to burn more calories, or you had history of dieting on low calories for a while. Good luck with your journey!2

No way you should eat at 1000 cals or anything lower than 1500 (for men) plus exercise calories.
Those abs will show more as each pound comes off.
If you don't already starring doing progressive lifting, that makes such a diff4to physique.0 -

Thanks I will do.
One thing I never do again is increasing protein macros. I have experimented a lot on my body for two years. High protein diet is not my cup of tea. I am a vegetarian now. I am getting all my macros from fruits and vegetables. I am just consuming around 70gram of protein. Yes high protein diet is a myth. I have seen many people in my gym who never had a high protein diet but they have the physique that I want0 -

OP, have read this??

First thing when I get up I'm hitting the stairs for about 10 minutes and walking after that about 20 minutes. Very light for a workout, but the goal is just to try to burn a little fat before I eat anything. By the time I get up my body is probably burning more fat than glucose, at least I hope.
If you do something like that, I wouldn't push too hard. Goal is just to get the heart rate up since your heart is pretty happy with burning fat. However, if you push really hard on a fast you might start burning glucose from muscle and lose more muscle mass than you want.0 -

Since muscle at rest only burns about 10 kc / kg, you must have been using the muscles to get up to 3000 kc / day? Even then ... 1000 kc workout is nothing to sneeze at.0 -
