Hi

I haven't exercised for coming up to 2 years. I used to hit the gym x3 a wk for classes like HIT.

I've had surgery to my arm 4 wks ago and just been discharged from dr.

I am thinking of going back to the gym and just using treadmill and bike lower leg exercise. will this help tone my legs back up. I know weight loss in CICO so I am on about toning thighs/Bottom.

I am looking at x3 times a wk for 1 hr. walking 4mph

Keep in mind that you cannot target where you lose body fat. Your, personal, genetics will dictate that. However it will tone the muscles in your legs.

If you're that interested in indoor cycling look into Spin Classes, They make the time fly by.

    Best of luck to ya.

has your dr cleared you to start working out again?

I would suggest taking it slow for a month and then maybe look into a structured lifting program that you can do in conjunction with cardio and eating in a deficit, I would suggest stronglifts or all pro beginner routine...
