Stretch Marks

So I had a baby boy 3 years ago. I'm slowly losing the 50 lbs I gained and maintained from that. But what about these stretch marks? So if i lose the 50 lbs I'd still be very uncomfortable trying to wear a two piece. What's a good way to at least fade them without plastic surgery? skin bleaching creams perhaps? My skin is ivory white. I'm told I shouldn't be ashamed of them. But dude, let's be real these things are ugly. They look like two hands holding my tummy, but like purple electric bolts. lol

You should have been rubbing bio oil and lots of lotion on your skin your whole pregnancy, now you just have to wait for them to fade, which they will in time.1

Fair skin is amazing! It took me years to accept and love that about myself. My stretch marks are actually whiter than me somehow lol so still very noticeable. I'll take stretch marks over cellulite any day though, unfortunately I'm cursed with both lol.

They usually turn a whitish color. Stretch marks don't bother me, even the skinniest of people can have them. I don't think guys care about it either. Wear your marks with pride. You brought a little human into the world! I can't have babies . I would give anything to have your lightening bolts.

They have a lazer treatment for stretchmark and tightening skin.
I did it, got it off of groupon and it took about 8 sessions but they are gone
I just read what it is called.
Radio frequency skin tightening treatment
Good luck beautiful

Laser treatments can remove them by resurfacing your skin. Basically it burns your upper layers of skin, along with dermipeels, causing overlying layers of skin to die and slough off revealing underlying layers of skin. Your skin is then forced to grow new skin cells in that area to replace the ones that slough off. They can pretty much fix most any skin problem with lasers nowadays but it usually works best on fairer skinned people and still may be an issue for those that like to tan afterwards. Dark skin people pretty much have to just suck it up.2

Bio Oil worked wonders for me! After just few weeks of using it three times daily you could see them fading away to the point where you could barely make them out. It can be quite costly but it's definitely worth it and one small bottle lasts up to a month as you only need to use a few drops each time you apply it

Vitamin E oil helped me fade mine. They are hardly noticeable now1

I have 3 kids, 9, 4, and 18 month. I have tons of stretch marks, they will fade over time, The ones I got from my first 2 pregnancies are barely visible. It just takes time.
I didn't put any oil or anything else on them. Most scars fade over time and stretch marks are just scars.1 -
Even if you treat your skin during pregnancy, if you are genetically prone to get stretch marks you probably will. It's normal, and nothing to be ashamed of (or to shame other people for). I haven't gotten any from my pregnancy, but I was big many years ago, and lost nearly 100 lbs. Therefore, I assume my skin didn't have to stretch much to support the baby. It was kind of pre-stretched? lol. Anyway, the stretch marks I had from when I was 100 lbs heavier faded with time. Now, you can barely see them unless you're actually looking hard enough. They're faint, white, and nearly match my skin. Yours will fade in time, too.3

They'll fade if you wait ... like 10 years. I got stretch marks from puberty. Haha now doesn't that suck. Honestly it probably won't be 10 years itll probably be like 5
Also cocoa lotion, coconut oil and I keep hearing about bio oil whatever the hell that is
Petroleum jelly is a cheap version of mederma0 -
They'll fade. They'll never go away without some type of laser voodoo magic but they'll fade.
Retin a, lactic acid peels, and bio oil did wonders on my stretch marks. They're literally invisible unless my skin is super dry then you'll notice them if you're super close.
For a instafix try a light tanning lotion. I used one from jergens. Super cheap. It made my skin super glowy and blended my stretch marks into my natural skin tone back when they were fresh. Also heavy foundation works but make sure it's water proof if you go that route and be careful hugging people who are fully clothed.
I've heard good things about derma rolling and dry brushing. Never tried derma rolling and dry brushing didn't do much for me. Good luck!1 -

I was told I couldn't either cause I had bad scaring due to rape. But then a few years later I had my miracle baby boy. I suppose these marks should be a reminder of that positive note. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I never thought of it that way.0 -
My youngest is now 18, and I can tell you for sure that they will fade with time. Mine are just silvery-grey now - very light, not that noticeable.1
