Eating back Fitbit calorie adjustment?

If I'm supposed to eat back my exercise calories does that mean I eat back the Fitbit Calorie Adjustment total that shows up as "exercise" on MFP? Or just what Fitbit logs as my actual exercise when I start and stop the exercise mode?

I follow mfp for food/calories in. The numbers on the far right (in the app), next to your exercise calories is the amount of calories you should be consuming.
But be aware that exercise trackers aren't always 100% accurate, so you may want to start by eating back 50-75% of your exercise calories back to start. You can tweak them more or less down the road depending on your weight loss.

Example: Say mfp gives me 2000 calories, and i burn an extra 600 through exercise. Mfp will then tell me i can eat 2600 calories for the day. That would be eating back 100% of my exercise calories.
However i think my fitbit overestimates slightly, so I err on the side of caution and would eat back 50ish% of the above number, so would finish the day at 2300 calories.

I hope i haven't confused you even further! ? :worried:

But the calorie adjustment isn't just my exercise, it's everything throughout the day, right? So just eat back half of the total adjustment? For instance today I walked for an hour but my total steps for the day was over 16,000. My adjustment is over 600, but my actual exercise is less than that.

In mfp the adjustment is your exercise, or anything above whatever activity level you chose.Your TOTAL calorie burn including BMR is what you see on your fitbit dashboard.

Choose one or the other, either mfp or fitbit, not both. Like i said above, i use mfp for food/calories in and fitbit for exercise/calories out.
