Help with balancing nutrient

I'm looking for a little advice. I'm finding it manageable to keep within my calorie limit, infact I tend tohave a fair few left over. However each day I find that I am over my goal on specific nutrients. As a result I am unable to use some of my left over calories when in feeling hungry. The ones I'm struggling not too go over are carbs, fat and sugar. Any suggestions?

Think of your macros (carbs/fat/protein) as a three-pronged teeter totter. If two are high (carbs and fat in your case) then the other one (protein) must be low.
You can find some higher protein ideas here, to help boost it:

But, it's really important to note that it's okay to go over on your macros in order to hit your calories (barring medical issues where you might need to keep one macro lower). Almost no one will hit all three macros perfectly. In four years I think I've hit a perfect macro balance exactly once. Calories are king for weight loss. Macros are helpful for other things, but MFP's default numbers are just one possible guideline. Most of us pick and choose one or two macros to prioritize (for me it's fat & protein) and let the rest fall where they will.3 -

That's fantastic.I'll start boosting protein and giving myself a little break from worrying about macros. Thank you very much.0
