Hello I'm just new to this tracker I find it brilliant but I struggle with the weight of food and adjusting the grams for example if I have some chicken that weighs 225g but I scan the packet and it gives me the calories per 145g how can I amend it to the weight of my bit of chicken ??

I'm not sure how you do it on the app, but when I enter foods I just do the basic math. It's a pain at first, but once you get the hang of it, it goes quickly.

Let's first look at the whole package. Take the package weight 225 g and divide it by the serving weight 145g:
225/145 = 1.55 servings per package. You would enter 1.55 servings if you ate the whole package.

Let's say you ate half the package, as that's a standard serving of 4 oz in American terms. Take the package weight and divide in half.
225/2 = 112.5 grams. Then divide how many grams you had by the serving size:
112.5/145 = 0.776 servings eaten. You would enter 0.776 servings if you ate half the package.

    Hope that helps! :)

If you open the measurement dropdown menu, in most cases there will be a "1 gram" or "1 g" entry. You pick that and enter the number of grams in your portion.
