Marinades and logging

If I'm creating a recipe for a marinade that has oil and a sugar in it, how do I log that accurately? I'm not weighing currently but once the amazon package arrives that will change. But still won't help with liquids like a marinade. I can create the recipe but when a good portion is pitched, well, it doesn't seem accurate.

Maybe weigh everything when you start, then weigh the marinade that is left after you've taken the meat/veggies out and subtract that number from the first number. I've thought about doing that with oil when I fry things.0
