I suffered bad bouts of binge eating a few months ago but today I had s few servings of special k cracker chips which are 80 cal for 17 chips and some rye bread and margarine for . My maintenance had 968 cal left but I'm afraid because there is going to be a bbq later I'll eat over that. I made an angel food cake for dessert but i don't want to mess up by eating it. I worked hard to lose ten pounds now I'm afraid it will come back. I'm not in here seeking therapeutic answers, as I go to therapy, but I'm just wondering if what I did will do any harm to my diet

Ten pounds will not come back over night. Just log it, move on. Enjoy life.

I am glad you're in therapy. I'm hoping you'll take full advantage of the help.

It's one day. For you to gain 10 pounds in one day, you would have to eat 35000 calories over maintenance. Just to gain even 1 pound, you would have to eat 3500 over maintenance.

Great advice from good ppl, learn to forgive yourself for being human and drink lots of water.

Chips have lots of sodium so expect some water retention hun.
Midol might help with it or take potassium tablets.
I've used the following to releave water weight: (one at a time not all at once)

    1. Apple day:
Eat 5 Apple's spread out through the day and drink lots of water, I like green tea don't sweeten.
    2. Fenugreek tea:
    1 table spoon fenugreek seeds
    1 table spoon funnle seeds
    5 while star anis
Bring the above to a boil in 3 cups water for 10 min, then let sit although hear for another 10 min drink the whole thing throughout the day or in 1 sitting.
    3. A fast where I only drink water and green tea unsweetened or with stevia. But I drink a lot, then for my dinner i have 12oz of a protein cooked in a light tomatoe sauce with onion and garlic and seasoned to my choice. No starch at all that day.

All those methods worked for me to quickly decrease my water retention.
One time I gained 8lbs water in one day used one of the above don't remember the one and lost 6lbs water the next day, the 2lbs went down over the next week but i didn't feel as uncomfortable.

    Good luck beautiful
