Here we go again, hopefully this time it will stick

Hi, I have tried myfitnesspal a number of times over the past couple of years, and can do well for weeks or a couple of months at most. I am hoping this time I can overcome all the hurdles in my way (admittedly most of them I have put out there myself.) I am 54, reasonably healthy, but have a bouts of pain from arthritis. I am managing the pain, but it sometimes makes it difficult to exercise.

I have hit my highest weight (again) of 251 and need to get this under control, not only for myself but for my husband who has end stage lung disease. As he has gotten sicker, I have had to take on more of the household roles he used to do like lawn mowing, running to the dump etc. I need to get stronger as he gets weaker and I can't imagine doing that at this weight.

One of the problems I have is time to exercise. I have a long commute (1hr 15 min) and travel to the office 3 times a week, working at home 2 days a week. On one of the days I am home, our grown sons come for supper. Although for now I certainly have enough household chores that need to be done to count some of it as cardio exercise.

Enough whining, I need to stick with it this time. Did good this week - lost 5 lbs. I know it wont always be easy, but I am hoping this time it sticks.
