determined!!

Hello MFP people! I will be turning 50 in 3 months...need to get this extra 15lbs off. I am trying to set a realistic goal for my age. I am a true believer in the power of food as medicine. I want to try to eat "real "food (no processed stuff) 80% of the time, while leaving room for those occasional pieces of cake that happen in life!! I try not to eat foods that make health claims (like heart healthy) and have done lots of reading to know that for me personally, I eat full fat foods in moderation...(no low/fat, no -fat stuff here! ) I also try hard to avoid any foods that might contain GMO's and try to buy the best quality foods i can with in my budget. I know I have a hard time with breads and pastas....they are trigger foods for me. I had great success on this before and just need to get back on track. Looking forward to cheering you all on! WE can do this!
