I was feeling so great about my progress. And don't get me wrong - 30 lb loss - super awesome. But then I went and tried on clothes and it made me feel like nothing has changed. Still feel so big. I've looked at progress pics and taken measurements in addition to the scale number so I know things have changed. And these feelings are motivation to keep going, but man does it feel crappy when you look in that dressing room mirror and you aren't happy.

Good luck <3 Sometimes I feel like with the little weight I've lost I look good in the mirror, and sometimes I feel like I look not so great in my clothes. Great job with the 30 pounds lost so far! Id like to hope that with time, and possibly better/new clothes that you'll be able to like what you see more in the mirror.

That's what derailed me 3 and a half years ago when I first started MFP. I honestly couldn't see any progress even though I had lost 27 pounds. Fast forward to January this year and up 17 pounds, I knew I had to do this. Now, I am at goal (down 48 pounds from original all time high) and it was so easy because my mind was finally on board. Not wanting to go back to where I was is my motivation. I'm getting used to the new me. You should be very proud of yourself. Keep going forward, you've got this!
