Does anyone know a good way to prepare peppery radishes?

They're really peppery and a little bitter... Please tell me they're not a lost cause. I hate throwing food away.

If you have just the radish bulbs:

To cut the calories down a tad, reduce how much butter/oil the recipe calls for - I find they go a bit over the top on the fats. But I've made all three of these and they're very tasty.0 -
Roast them, or throw them into a stew instead of potatoes. They turn out A LOT like potatoes, cut your calories, and my husband actually likes them better.0

Use them like potatoes, blend them with water and seasoning into a kind of pureed sauce, or pickle them!0
