Be Proud of Yourself for just Finishing

Sometimes you just have to make yourself complete a workout. It might not be your fastest time or your best effort, but it's necessary to finish it all. Today, I could have stayed on my couch with my labs and not done a thing. Well, after the vet visit of course. So, it's time to work out, and the excuses start. I've had a sinus headache for two days. I don't eat my exercise calories anyway, and I try to stay on point with my nutrition. Plus, it's hot outside to interval run on the track. Finally tired of the excuses, I just make myself get started, and I ended up walking an additional two miles when I got home on my treadmill in the basement. Was is my personal best? No, it wasn't, but I don't regret it, and I'll try again tomorrow. I'm just proud of myself for not giving in to the excuses.
