How much could I lose off my calves a week?

I cant fit boots. I would like to lose 1cm a week. I have started using a scooter for an hour a day and doing 10,000 steps. I am also being strict with my food intake. My legs are massive.

I don't honestly think there is anyway to know, there are so many variables that are beyond your control. You can't spot reduce, your body will lose weight where it wants to. Also the shape of your calves is affected a lot by your genetics. Some people have calf muscles that are very pronounced while others have a naturally slimmer build there. All you can do is keep losing weight until you get where you want to be.0

just out of curiosity... do your calves swell during the day - especially when it's warm or do they hurt when you push your finger in a bit stronger?0

50 pounds lost was only 1 inch off my calves and it wasn't because they started small. I did eventually find a pair of wider calf boots that would fit me and was happy with that.
How much weight do you have to lose? Have you been able to wear boots in the past at a lower weight? That might give you an idea of how much of your leg shape is due to genetics.

In a week? Weight loss is like peeling an onion, a little bit at a time!1

I'm 110 kg, hoping to get to 90 kilos or less by the end of the year. When i was last that weight, I could wear some boots.0

I'm wondering if the muscles are big from carrying all my body weight around.0

Usually that's the way of it. If you can feel real muscle under there you've just got legs built like tree trunks (no shame, my hamstrings are enormous and make my legs look huge!) and the only way to really get the size down is to let some of the muscle waste away.
Stiff upper lip for now, and just wait it out. Once there's a lot less of you to carry, it should just happen on its own. Beyond that, we lose fat in weird places and where we lose first varies by person. Unfortunately, there aren't really any 'toning' options for legs, and you can't spot reduce fat.2 -
Just looked it up, but in 18kg weight loss my lower legs hardly got thinner. I just have to accept that I won't be able to wear boots (or trousers in a small size) despite being 57kg only now. Oh well.. there are more important things in life.0
