How does this really work?

I've stuck to the 1200 daily calorie amounts, I've maintained an active outlook and succeeded in participating in both cardio and strength exercises, I've increased calorie intake to accommodate the exercises in fear of going into starvation mode, and slowing down the metabolism.....yet I haven't lost a thing this week and only 1llb the week before. I appreciate that it takes time and will power , but the motivating factor each day was when I fill in my calorie amount, it comes up... " If you continue like this by July 31st you will be 11 stone 5" I was thinking hey that's not bad....Two week later I'm been told the same thing :( mind the goal posts have moved to mid august...lol

Am I doing something wrong?...All feedback very much appreciated...Ideas welcome .... :smile:

I've also noticed that the daily amounts vary for everyone on here..... 1200 was what I was given, how can I check this is the correct amount I should be on.....
