Foxtrot2n brings up a valid issue. What do we do after we reach our goal? I am not close enough to worry about that day, but I can see it on the horizon.

I mostly agree with Laddyboy, but feel there are very few who can eliminate the whites from our diets forever. We live in a white bread world and some "whites", junk food, soda, etc are unavoidable.

I started with a goal to lose 220 lbs. I'm down 100 in 15 weeks and it's been all diet changes. I could use some advice too from anyone who's lost and then kept it off. From what I've seen, heard, read, losing will be much easier than maintaining. Good luck to you and everyone else here. We rock!! :smokin:

I'm at maintaining, I have set new body image goals, I have to keep goals and keep focusing on something or I do get bored and go back into old habits. Weight is only half the battle. Now it's time to sculpt my body how I wish to see it. Tight stomach, cut arms, muscles in the legs, lifted butt, and then once all that I'll aim higher, abs possibly.

ANYONE can add me. I have lost 117 lbs total. I did have the help of WLS, but believe me, I WORK AT IT every day. I love giving and receiving support.

I'm down 65 pounds to date. The support and encouragement from others on MFP is massive. Such an amazing bunch of motivated people.
