So I got my partial dentures today and needless to say but my gums hurt really bad. So I am looking into protein powder as my dentist suggested. Never been able to find one I liked before, and never really had an issue with getting my protein from food, but now at a point where I need some for a little while. Can anyone please recommend a really good one?

TIA

My husband did slimfast high protein and ensure until he built his gums up. He would also mix whey protein powder into things like pudding. I also bought him the Greek yogurts with the highest protein count I could find and he would add the whey to that as well

Look for pre-mixed containers of protein mix (single serve 12 oz bottles). They taste better. More costly, but it's temporary (for a week or two?). Plus, if you don't like protein drinks, you only have 4 bottles. Not a 3 month supply.
    http://www.walmart.com/ip/Pure-Protein-Rich-Chocolate-Shakes-11-fl-oz-4-count/39224146 just a suggestion.
Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, baked fish also ideas.

I like Adaptogen Tasty Whey Sea Salt and Caramel or Eat the Bear Cinnamon Bun the best. I don't like the "too sweet" of some brands.

I'd try out a health food store and get some quality meal replacement shakes. You should be able to get sample packs there and find one you like to get you through the next week or so.....
