So I have been religiously tracking my calories and eating healthy for almost 3 months now. My gym membership expired about a month ago and I haven't started it back up yet...... I was still losing and now over the past week I've gained 4 pounds and haven't changed anything. I'm so frustrated just wanted to getsome feedback from anyone that may have had this struggle or tips. Thanks so muchmuch

Did you stop exercising all together? Did you drop your calorie intake to compensate? Did you eat 14,500 calories over your weekly budget of calories? Did you eat some high sodium meals? Sodium intake causes water intention.

I will have big swings in my weight but I know my calorie counting is spot on.

You're tracking calories - but are you weighing all solids/semi-solids on a food scale and measuring out all liquids? This chart may help you:

I gain 5-7 lbs at ovulation time( midcycle) AND menstruation time. But they come off in two days or so after. Don't worry about it, if you're sticking to your plan, it's only logical that you would lose weight no matter how much you stall.

I've been at weight plateau for a few weeks now!! its massively frustrating and has had me standing buy an open treat cupboard ( kept for my daughter & hubby  ) but I have to remind myself that weight loss isn't a straight line ?? we go up and down and stay the same during this journey. I am winning at this thing , Im getting healthier, fitter and educating myself at the same time. I have a lot of weight to lose but when I think back to a few months ago when I started I am proud of where I am now.

Are you eating enough ? Have you adjusted your calorie intake recently ? have your hormones been playing up?

there are many many reasons for gaining weight that have nothing to do with calorie intake?

Please don't get despondent!! look at what you've done so far and ask yourself this ," If you hadn't started healthy eating what would you weigh today and more importantly how would you feel?"

    good luck

    Danna

FYI - I've been at this [this time] since December. I've lost almost 30 lbs. Here's what my weight loss has looked like the last 3 months:

You'll notice it goes up and down, up and down, but the overall trend is downward. Stay the course and you WILL see results!
