In highschool i was super crazy about working out and eating right mostly because I had a scholarship lined up for softball, but I blew out my knee my junior year and lost my scholarship so I stopped trying so hard to be a the top of my game all the time.
Now that it's my first year in college I feel that since I'm putting so much time into school and work I don't have the time for the gym ect. Any ideas for keeping my motivation and at home workouts? I've tried reminders on my phone but since my work schedule is so crazy I normal just dismiss them and then forget by the time I get off work.

I have a crazy schedule as well and so does my husband. We joined a gym that offers 24/7 accessibility so we now have no excuse not to go. We have gone it at 2am and been the only 2 before lol

    Don't wait around for motivation.

    Just do it.

    Then do it again.

For me working out at home is hard.. Too many distractions. Trick is to find different routines that you don't get tired of and enjoy getting to that next step of progress. I'd say also start with trying to perfect the diet. I tend to get more motivated to workout when I've been doing great on my diet (combined you see fast results that help motivate even more)

I always wanted to work out after or before work, but family life tends not to conform to routine.

Then a Ymca opened 2 blocks from my job now I get 45 min work out in and shower Atleast 4 days a week at lunch time.

My point here was motivation is not always what stops us from working out, if you don't feel you can get in a routine it hinders the days when you are feeling your best and kills the momentum.

I was an athlete in highschool as well and even in the army for 7 years.
