After eating dinner last night, I vomitted after taking a new prescription. I'm assuming I shouldn't log those calories. Can you please confirm?

There's really no telling how many of those calories actually came back up or not. So I would just log it all as if you held down the entire meal. If your hungry later, add on an extra snack. Even if you ended up being a few hundred calories over. Feel better soon!7

Depends, how much time had passed? Amount digested? Amount coming up? I would just log half and call it even.1

Unless you vomited immediately after eating I would just log it and move on.
If you vomited right after swallowing the last bite then I'd say not to log it.2 -
i would log them, you'll just be kidding yourself otherwise xo1

sorry you got sick4

Me too..and might i add..if you get sick too many times, go back and ask for a new prescription....also, while you're sick, maybe consider not logging for a day or two, to give yourself a break..xo1

Log it but take it as personal win in your mind0

Definitely log it. Ick. I hope you feel better.0

I drank a bottle of wine last night, I rarely drink! I hurled 15 minutes after eating dinner, but I still left my dinner in my food diary. Better to be safe than sorry.0

Once I've thrown up, I've considered myself done eating for the day. What's the point of tracking when you're that sick?2

Hilarious thread title, MFP in a nutshell. Hope you feel better, original poster.
Theoretically one could weigh it to see how much not to count.1 -
Well from what little I know, if it was 30+ minutes after she ate, she absorbed most of the calories, what she lost the remainder of the bulk from the food and some nutrition.
I am always sort of sad when I see a poster worried about calories consumed after "vomiting". One day of feeling like crap after vomiting on new medication would be my main focus.0 -
