Losing weight too fast?

I'm 5'1" started at 138 lbs. MFP says I need to be at 1200 calories to lose .5 lbs a week. Started out great, lost 2 lbs in about 3 weeks, then I plateaued at 136 for about 2 weeks. So I became super vigilant about keeping my caloric intake to 1200, and the past week I'm down another 2 lbs, about half a pound a day. That seemed a little faster than I expected and isn't it not healthy to lose weight that fast? Am I spot eating enough to now? Not sure what to do...

More than likely you are seeing catchup weight loss from the short "plateau". I've had weight stick at a point for weeks before, then suddenly ten pounds topple off in a week. It's never linear.3

If you're being super vigilant about 1200, keep doing that and in a few weeks you'll get to maintenance and then you can be super vigilant about whatever that is. You got this.0
