Hey all,
Looking for motivation for cycling. Feel free to add me on strava. Name is Meandering Cyclepath.

Also is anyone around the western suburbs Melbourne that is interested in recreational/social ride?
:)

There's a Facebook group called "Girlride! Melbourne" which is females from all over Melbourne and people use it for "Hey is anyone in the <whatever> area up for a ride?" and you can say how fast/far/etc and see if there's someone who'd be interested. It's not a club or anything, just "women in Melbourne who ride bikes", and I think there's a fair bit of variety in what level they ride at, and what time (road, MTB, track, etc).

I ride a fair bit, but I'm out in the South East.

Edit: I don't mean to imply you should only ride with girls or anything like that. I'm a female cyclist myself and I know it can be...frustrating (to put it mildly) when people go "oh you're just a girl, go and ride with those girls", but I don't know of similar mixed groups and thought this might be a way you could connect with some others in your area  In my experience, groups of girls are often nicer to ride with, more social and encouraging. I often ride with a bunch of mostly guys, but wow...does the ego come out haha!
