I'm back on the wagon.. hoping this wagon will be a lifestyle change this time, instead of getting to my goal and quitting.. then gaining it all back again... for the 5th time.
anyone else have this happen? looking for some friends for some support, motivation, and accountability.

I'm definitely one of those. I get all into it, even for a long period of time, and then just give up and get REALLY bad, ending up gaining even more than I lost. I am hoping to be able to actually stick with it this time as well! I'm on Day 5 of Insanity, and I've been doing well learning to equal out junk food and clean eating. I was able to completely cut pop out of my diet even!0

That's exactly how I am.. And now I'm at my worst, so I'm definitely taking it seriously this time. I'll be 30 in 6 months and want to be in shape! I'm good with not drinking sodas.. it's the wine and beer that get me!0

I've had weight issues all my life since I was 9. Gained, a couple years later lost. Kept it off for 7 years, gained it all back and then some, lost it all again, kept it off for about 7 years again, gained it all back and then some. Over the last year I've lost 50 lbs, though the last couple months I've put 9 on, but am back on it and NOT going back!!! (I had a 2 week Irish vacation and then just couldn't get back into it until now...).
My best advice...say this to yourself as often as you can, or when you feel like giving up, or think about falling off the wagon again...YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Been there and done that. I lost about 60 pounds before I joined MFP and still have another 30 or so pounds to go. Feel free to add me as another friend for accountability and support!0

welcome back to the wagon! I'd love to be your friend to help you see your goals through to the end! Feel free to add me! Do you you have specific obtainable goals written out? I find that is often the best place to start! Make smaller goals to help you reach your ultimate goal.0

That is definitely me! I have been skinny forever and then all of a sudden, I start to get older and put on over 70 pounds. Lost some, gained some, lost more, gained more! It's ridiculous how much I didn't pay attention to what I was eating because I thought I'd always be thin. HA.....!!!
Been back on the band wagon for 6 days and have lost 8.2 pounds already just by changing what I eat and only having water. I know it's mostly water weight but God it feels good to see that loss on a scale!

This is definitely me. I have been trying to lose 30 pounds since I was seventeen. Almost 7 years now. The same pattern always follows, I get near to my goal and I fall off the wagon or it seems to take too long and I give up. This time around I gained more weight that I ever had before. It got to the point where I was ashamed to put on a bikini. That's when I decided that something needed to change and change permanently. I would love some friends to help keep me on track!!! Feel free to add ,e.0

I am in that boat. I have lost 30 pounds and I have gained it back. I know I can not be that. I would love to have people that understand and help me stay in track. Feel free to add me.0
