Need motivation!!!

I am in no way underweight, in fact I have gained 5 kilograms over Winter. I am 1.58 mt tall and i now weight 52kgs. I used to be 48kilograms. I gain weight very fast and I really have to watch what I eat and I have to exercise to keep myself in shape. I am now back at gym but feeling discouraged as I still weigh 52kilograms although I been watching what I eat. I work pretty hard at gym and generally burn off about 700 calories or more. I love working out as it always makes me feel better afterwards but once I step on the scale and see my weight has not changed I feel discouraged so I am thinking of maybe changing the way i eat or going on a fast maybe that an help??? any suggestions?
