Loading Up for half

Not sure which board to put this question under but here it is. I am training for my first half marathon at the end of September. I have read several places that you should load up on carbs (i.e pasta bread etc) the night or 2 before the race. My question is, what would you suggest I load up on because I have celiac and cannot consume gluten? What should I eat that will help load me up the way pasta and bread would?

No need to carbo load for a HM. Just eat what you would normally eat. Don't do anything differently than you have done before a training run to ensure that the food doesn't cause you gastric distress on race day.

I agree. If you need to, you can test out different pre race breakfasts and such on your long run days.
